Write About Medical Experiences

Get Me Into Medical School are always looking for interesting medical stories and experiences to share with prospective medical students.

If you are applying for medical school this is a fantastic opportunity to publish, share your experiences and demonstrate your commitment to medicine. It may be that you have an interesting story you encountered when on work experience, it may be that you have experience of medicine abroad or have been involved with an audit or research project.

If you are applying to medical school or have recently been successful we would also be happy to publish a write up of your experiences of the application process, interview or first few weeks at medical school.

The GMIMS team would be happy to consider pitches in any of the below formats:

  • Work Experience Article (500-750 words)
  • Original Article on Current Medical topic/research (500-750 words)
  • Vacation Period Article (500-750 words)
  • Blog post on applying (500-750 words)
  • Video Blog on any aspect of applying (10 minutes)
  • Summaries of successful applications (500-750 words)
